Recent geopolitical developments in the Middle East are creating some uncertainty across global logistics networks. As many of our customers know, the electronics component supply chain is highly interconnected, and events affecting major shipping routes or energy markets can have a knock-on impact on manufacturing and transportation worldwide.
While it is too early to predict the full effect, we are already seeing signs that some component manufacturers and distributors are reviewing production schedules and shipping routes. This may lead to longer lead times and reduced availability on certain electronic components over the coming weeks and months.
At QPE, we are actively monitoring the situation and working closely with our global supplier network to minimise any disruption to our customers. Our team remains committed to maintaining supply continuity wherever possible.
However, as a precautionary measure, we recommend that customers:
Review upcoming production schedules
Forecast component requirements where possible
Place orders early to secure stock and avoid potential delays
Early visibility of demand will allow us to better support your requirements and ensure we can allocate stock appropriately.
If you have any questions about lead times, product availability, or upcoming requirements, please contact your QPE representative who will be happy to assist.
We will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
Thank you for your continued partnership.
